Msg from my mother

She says to pass on her belief that babies will come when they are ready and that there's no need to induce the labour before that...

Her message went something along the lines of: "Be patient girls, if your baby has not come yet it's probably still got a little bit of cooking to do. I was really uncomfortable and in pain towards the end of my pregnancy and in the last few days I even thought about going in to be induced! So glad I didn't, though because little Lilly came out all by herself, I was able to have my home birth, and as soon as she was here I pretty much forgot the pains of pregnancy!! Your babies WILL come to you, just try to be patient."

Good luck, girls. Hope the rest of your pregnancies go quickly for you.

Aww! I feel like that. Like I should wait for her to come on her own, but at the same time, I know when I actually am overdue, I will give in to induction.

I agree with her but its soooooo hard to want to wait for them to come on their own. I want him to come now so I can see his little face and hands and feet, and know that he is real and he is healthy... I cant wait!!

Sometimes I talk to him and tell him that I am ready for him to come now, but I follow up by telling him if he isnt ready then he needs to wait til he is. I have done it for the last 39 weeks, whats one or two moree

Awww... I used to do this with Anna

And at 39 weeks? One or two more weeks can feel like a lifetime I bet! :P But you just have to remember that it WILL be over soon, and all the waiting and the aching and the discomfort will be in the past, and you'll have your little boy or girl, and it will all be sooooo worth it.

She's doing really well, thanks I went round to see her and baby Lilly thismorning and they both look great Lilly is really long and podgy - she's in o-3 month clothing, which is odd because Anna is still in early baby size!! lol We got some lovely photos of them both together, which I will post up in the photo gallery soon...

Apparently mum's labour went really well - which was just as well because there was no midwife there and no pain relief!! lol - She had a natural third stage - after watching my labour (where I was knelt up for the birth and the placenta just fell straight out after Anna) she got her knees and pushed and it came out really nicely. She didn't need any stitches and is feeling quite comfortable now - Apparently she was feeling back to her pre-pregnant self straight away and was doing washing and tidying last night because she couldn't sleep!! lol She's already lost all her pregnancy weight and is back to what she weighed before (b*tch!! lol)

I'm on cloud nine right now - Can't believe I have my beautiful, darling baby and now on top of that I have a precious little sister! So indescribably happy
