I've bought half & half so we can try both, but mostly because I had offers through boots baby club for the free changing bag when you buy pampers & for the free baby basket from Tesco baby club when you buy huggies!

I like Huggies for newborns.

It has gentle care for the umbilical cord.

im using pampers and so far so gd, they are really absorbant dont irritate her and fit her well (size 1) but i cant really compare as i havnt used huggies yet, i do have some size 2 ones tho i think so we will see, but just thought i'd let you know that iam impressed with pampers to all you girls who have bought them.
