Aqua, do you really need to be induced if you were only due yesterday? I read something really helpful recently that if we all thought of our pregnancies as 42 weeks, we would realize that babies that arrive even two weeks after the due date are still "on time." Anyway...thinking of you and hoping all goes well! I know you're good and ready to meet your little one. I just don't want you to feel like you have no choices.

I am getting a lot of swelling and my BP was rather high today (no proteinuria), so I am very much to the point where it is more beneficial to get the baby out. And since I am dilated as well, my body has started to do things on its own, it just needs a tiny push.

I'm excited for you Aqua!! I think your having a boy but we will see I'm curious to see how it goes as I'm the same amount dilated and might be induced this week. Good luck hun, I hope it goes fast and easy!!

I'm glad you're not worried about the induction; I know some people say that induction makes the labour pains more intense and painful, but that's generally the case if your body is not ready to go into labour (so the muscles have to contract extra hard to thin out the cervix) but as you're a bit dilated already I doubt that will be the case! Hope your labour goes well and doesn't take too long. You'll be fine
