vbac in the OR?

So I went for my tour of the hospital today. I was told that if I am trying a VBAC, that when/if I get to 10cm, I will be moved to the Operating Room before I start to push.... just in case.

Is that pretty standard do you think? I was surprised. I guess it makes sense, but its kind of intimidating as well.

I would be intimidated as well, but it really doesn't surprise me. God forbid anything happen, being in the OR is probably best
