A question about baby stuff

I've only just really thought about this but;
How much baby moses basket bedding will i need?
How many blankets and covers am i going to need?
How much of everything am i really going to need to start of with?

I know there's stuff i can get when baby arrives, and that nappies and cotton buds etc can be bought after too. But i worried myself because i wouldn't know how many of anything i need

Some tips and any advice would be lovely as i'll be able to be a little bit more prepared and not panicking like a headless chicken once LO is here x

I've bought bits based on what i've read here and from speaking to friends. For my moses basket i've got 3 fitted sheets, 3 flat sheets and 3 cellular blankets. I got a starter set from Babies R Us which had 2 fitted sheets, 2 flats and 2 Cellular blankets for £14.99, and i think Matalan (if offer is still on) and Tesco have sheets on offer for buy one get one free at the mo. I've also got one fleecy blanket and two other blankets for in the pram and car seat etc. Hope i've helped a bit xx

I've got three sheets for moses basket and 3 for cot. I'm thinking that as long as I have enough that I can at least do a quick wash and dry them on the radiators in between, that'll do. Cover-wise, I'd get the same amount. Make sure you have at least 3 for everything you're gonna use them on. Pram, cot, moses basket. If your washing machine has a quick wash setting and you're in troubler and need a clean blanket soon, you can quick wash it and dry it fast =)

I think fitted sheets for actually going over the mattress and then the flat ones for layering over baby...

ive got 5 fitted sheets for the moses basket just incase shes sick on them and i dont want to be washing them all the time. ive got 2 cellular blankets to fit moses basket. 2 sheets for the cot bed (i might get some more though). i need to get 2 cellular blankets for cot bed like the biggers ones. But ive got about 4 other blankets that arent cellular like fluffy ones and really big cotton ones etc ive also stocked up on nappies incase i dont wanna go out for a week or so and then their there and i dont have to worry about keep buying more.
xx

Thanks. Will just buy fitted sheets as it should be quite warm in May so will use cellular blankets only.
