Turning a breech baby

Hi everyone!
Been for a growth scan today after placenta was low at 20 weeks. Good news on that front - placenta has moved out of the way!
Trouble now is that baba is sat upright with crossed legs, facing my back!
Any suggestions for making him/her move greatly appreciated.
Booked in for ECV after 36 weeks if no change by then (2 weeks time), just don't fancy it really!
Thanks in advance x

I don't really have any advice, sorry. I do think they still have time/room to turn around though, no?

Haven't you been given those exercises to do? Google it to see what positions you need to be in xx

Was told to get on my hands and knees with my bum in the air! makes sense i suppose - might give the baby a bit more room!

I could have written this thread today. Just found out today baby's in breech position at the moment. Trying not to think about that too much though as I know there's still room to turn, but I did google some things on helping baby turn about. The one on all fours was mentioned. Then another whacked one...take the ironing board and lean it against the couch and then lay on it, so that you're head is below your hips...I don't see myself doing this one as I don't have an ironing board for starters! LOL

But also heard similar concept, laying a bunch of pillows under your bum so it lifts it up and inclines you.

Also read about playing music and using a flashlight down at your pelvis to attract baby to move down. Interesting ideas....

My baby is still breech and has been for a long time. It's extremely frustrating, although I have hope that he'll move on his own still. I absolutely do NOT want a c-section and I think it's ridiculous that it'll be pretty much my only option if he doesn't turn. Been spending lots of time on all fours and getting dad to talk to him way down low, hopefully inspiring him to turn.

Yes, you need to do the cat-cow exercise so that baby has more room to move around. It's also good for your back.

This site may also help you:

Some of them seem kind of dangerous though!! Try the less risky ones.

my doula specifically told me to start this at 34 weeks to prevent a breech baby..
buy or use a yoga ball/balance ball and set it up on your couch or obviously somewhere comfy...while on your knees -- lean on it with your chest and arms (head resting on it comfortably) (like 'table' position for yoga) for 1 hr every single night for the rest of your pregnancy. the baby will eventually move out of a breech position.
i guess the couch is a good place so you can watch tv and be distracted for that hour. good luck!
