Normal for 38 wks or something else?

Hi all,

just wanted to check. In the evening im getting pain in my pubic bone when i move my legs - is this normal for late pregnancy? Its not all the time. It seems to happen on my mpre active days. I would imagen it is as it only started this last week but when u google pubic bone pain lots of scary spd stuff comes up

wow! i honestly could have written this myself! i have it too, im also 38 weeks, i get it throughout the day too, not just at night, im really not 100% what it is, but im pretty sure its not SPD, ive heard that that is excruciating not just painful. I was told it culd just be the pubic bone spreading apart due to bubs pressure engaging and getting ready for labour. I really hope it eases for u soon though, ive been trying to battle it with a hot water bottle between my legs lol

Ive had it for the past couple of weeks. The only thing I found that works is sleeping on the oposite side with a pillow between my legs and lay in bed a lot

normal hunny, everything ached for me at 38 weeks!
try bouncing on a ball or keep your feet up for the next couple of weeks x

i have been having really excruciating pains down there i cant walk without suddenly collapsing in pain and crying. Turns out i have spd but there is not much that can be done now. i could get a belt fitted but that takes a couple weeks and i only have 3 b4 my due date so just got to suck it up really. midwife told me basically dont move when i dont need to and keep my knees together. It sux
