constipation... I think?!

Hi Ladies,

I wondered if any of you have suffered with constipation at all?

I have had trapped wind before but thinking about it I don't think I've been to the loo for a few days... I had a terrible tummy pain this morning, could hardly stand up straight and it's still there now... feel heavy below my bump, but at the front so am a bit confused.... maybe it;s my bladder or cervix?!

Anyone had anything similar?

I suffer with it terribly. You could try some senna to see if that works?

ive had horrible horrible constipation the whole way through my pregnancy. are you taking iron? that can make it worse. i discovered the wonders of shredded wheat, 3 bowls a day which helped me a bit?

what's senna?

I've been eating weetabix, bananas and granary bread so should'nt be constipated... no, not taking iron.

**amended, as unsure about this pain... it's at the front below my bump....? Is that my cervix or bladder?
