I would ask to chat your consultant to get an accurate picture of how LO will be when she is born..as youve had steroids...theres is no infection and 20 week scan was fine Im not sure why your midwife is saying the LO will be poorly.

I was admitted 2 weeks ago due to a bleed and a lady there had her waters break at 25 weeks and was 27 weeks at the time..she was admitted and told she wouldnt be going home until LO was born..her baby was born by c section that week after she went into labour and when I called in to see her last week...she said baby was doing really well and had even had her breathing tube removed...

28 weekers do so well these days..and youve had the added bonus of having had steroids..every day she stays in your tummy is a bonus. The best thing that you can do, is rest as much as poss..but yes I would recommend a visit to the scbu just so that you know what to expect.

I just wante to reassure you a little, when my waters went at 28 weeks everyone said baby would come within 48 hours, then within the week then by 30 weeks, then 32 weeks, 34 weeks and so on infact she stayed in there for a 8 weeks. PROM doesnt always mean baby is going to be a premmie
