I'm Currently Feeling: | Sorry you are having to go through this. It is so heartbreaking for the kids.
I have no experience of social services but i know that when a solicitor and the court get involved, social services will start behaving themselves. A solicitor should be able to help you if what you have said about her previous neglect is true.
The only problem with getting the court involved is it isnt costing her anything and she can play up and drag her feet whilst the tax payers foot her bill. You on the other hand have to pay for every single letter and phone call which just adds to the stress.
I really hope something happens to ease the situation and make things easier for you. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | btw, make sure your solicitor is someone you trust and can talk to. There is nothing worse than having to deal with a solicitor who is a cold fish. You are paying them enough to get some sympathy too! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Sonny
I stumbled onto your post even though I should rightly be sticking to the TTC end of the forum!
Just a quick thing, I'm a family solicitor and I'm sure whoever your solicitor is is brilliant but I would encourage your bf to go for the interim residence order himself rather than waiting for his ex to do it. If he already has a residence order, he should go for a specific issues order for the return of the children. Better to be the applicant than the respodent if possible.
Good luck hon |
