I'm not bleeding or anything but is it normal to have bad period pain. I know its not BH because have had those and know what they feel like.
But i am getting worried because i am at university which is an hour drive from home.
Is it normal to just have these pains, i feel like i would when i am just about to start bleeding on my period???? Ouch.

i had these pains and they were contractions i dont know if they are classified in the braxton hicks or not. doc said if it last more than an hour and doesnt go away by drinking some water ( coz u could be dehydrated) then you should get checked out. so just time it and have a drink. hope you feel better.

You're got the period pains, I've got the bleeding, together we could be in full blown labour!

Could just be normal pregnancy pains (some women get period-like pains throughout their pregnancy) so I don't want to worry you, but real contractions feel like strong period pains. It could be you're going into pre-term labour... I would definately phone a midwife to find out what they think. They will probably reccomend you go into hospital to get checked over and to make sure that everything is alright. If they become regular, close together and more intense then you are definately in labour and should go straight to the delivery suite at hospital...

It may be lack of sleep??? i haven't slept in the last 48 hours as my dissertation deadline is in 2 hours, its probably a combination of that and dehydration.
I have to get this done, so cannot keep getting up for the toilet so have not drank much fluid... "bad charlotte"

My eyes are like sandpaper, i feel like death xx

Ahh! Think how much better you'll feel when it's all over with though. Tell the little man you're having a celebratory 12 hour sleep tonight whether he likes it or not!!

i bloody hope so Toria, this has been the most stressful piece of work i have had to do in my life and will be glad when it is over!!

If i can't get to sleep tonight going to have to go to doctors because if its not stress causing my insomnia i don't know what it is, but i can actually feel my body shutting down. Its going to be a fun drive home. xx
