Are Rennies not working for you? I cried with happiness on the day I learned that they are safe in pregnancy.

Work for me.

I have had really bad heart burn like this also. And im sorry to say i havent found anything that helps I have been using Morrisons heartburn sweet type things... they work for about 20 minutes, i have tried yoghurts, milk and alsorts

Buuut the last two nights i have found sleeping with an extra pillow has helped.

Hope you find something to help you

P.S its an old wives tale that the more heartburn you have the more hair your baby will have lol x

I use boots own version of rennies... the fruit flavour ones. I think they are 2.99 but you get 48 (i think) in a pack... much cheaper than rennies.. and they also taste a-ok! x

I have heartburn but thank god its not 24 hour thing or i would go mad!! Do you not use gaviscon or anything like that? I find it really helps, although i do try to hold off for as long as possible before taking it cos the taste makes me retch haha. You should go to doctors and get that stuff that makes your stomach stop making so much acid, my friend used it in pregnancy and it really helped her, i havent got a clue what its called! its totally safe in pg but only really used if you're suffering horrendously...which you obviously are!!
