Baby Position?

Ok i know its still early days!
BUT im sure my baba is lying the wrong way! i think he is lying across my tummy?! i get a kick on my left side and feel it on my right side under my ribs i feel nothing below my tummy button!
Is it possible he is lying transverse (think thats the correct word)
and if he doesnt turn what happens! Im sure he will but i would like to here your opinions Xxx

As you said, there is still loads of time for the baby to turn, and even if he didnt there are ways to try and influence him to turn, such as going on all fours and the midwife can do it by pushing on your belly to manouvre him also. But all of my kicks are on one side and my baby is head down cos I was told at my last mw appointment so I wouldnt worry.

Sounds like your bubs is in the same position as mine - I always get kicked on my right hand side and to be honest I thought the same.

My bubs is actually head down, with its back on one side of my bump and feet on the other (hope that makes sense)

Mine is all over the shop, today she feels transverse - it feels like she's tickling my right hand side, last week at midwife app she was head in ribs , I thought she was head down and bum in the air because I thought I could feel hiccups in my pelvis - but apparently no! I can feel her turning - I thought they weren't supposed to have enough room at this point - and she's not small!!!!!
Midwife said it's not an issue till 36 weeks so I'm going to go swimming to try and get her to head downwards, I reeeaaalllllyyyyy don't want a c-section even if OH thinks it's the perfect way to have a baby!!!

My kicks and movements are always on my right hand side, at my 20 week and 29 week 4d scan baby is head down with her back up the left hand side. She was in this position at my last midwife appointment to. so i feel the kicks high up on the right and i have just started feeling her moving her hands and arms down low on the same side.

I would describe the movements i feel as exactly the same as yours, i thought it seemed like he might be in a weird position but my mw told me its his feet up by my ribs, bum out to the right of me and his arms and hands low down on my left and that hes definitely head down! I never thought a tiny babys hands could make such hard punches though, they are just as bad as the kicks!! Hopefully you'll get to find out what position bubs is in soon!

For the last couple of weeks, I've been feeling bubs kick on my right side and when he does, his head would pop out on the left side so he is definately laying sideways! Not the most comfortable when you're trying to get to sleep and sleeping on your sides...he ends up kicking me even more and I can feel his head stretching my uterus!

As you said, still plenty of time for the baby to get into the head down position - they should usually move into the head down position at about 38 weeks I think but it can differ from woman to woman. Doing your cat-cow exercise can help give your baby more room to move about. Don't worry about it - you're fine!
