Braxton Hicks driving me insane!!!

This is crazy, Im only 29 weeks but been getting BH for a few weeks, and today for the past 7 hrs, it's been every 5 min. They aren't really painfull, just annoying like mild cramps. So Im drinking as much water as I can hoping it helps. Anyone else have this? I just know, I waon't be able to handle another 11 weeks of this, I just might snap

My Dr. told me if you have more then 4 in an hour you need to be checked. Keep drinking water and lay down, if they don't stop coming every 5 minutes you might want to call to see if you need to be checked.

Thats the problem, if I call, they will definatly make me go in. They always do when there's any concern. But, this is my 5th baby, my last one I had this go on for about 8 weeks until she was born, but not quite this frequent. This is just crazy! Im not too concerned, just cuz it isnt getting worse, or closer together. I kinda wonder though, if they have some sort of meds that stop BH. I know they have one that stops real labour. I just really really dont feel like driving all the way in to the hospital just to find out everything is ok. Of course, if I was worried I wouldnt hesitate. Im just getting fedup and annoyed with this.

Oh I see, since this is your 5th baby you probably know what's going on and have enough confidence in your decision, especially since this has happened in past pregnancies. Trust your gut. But if you do think it's becoming too frequent, it wouldn't be the worse thing to drive down there.

I had this yesterday as well! It wasnt just the odd one either, just like you. This is my 6th and even at 40+ weeks my cervix is always tight shut, so know they never do anything, but really can do without days like that!

I very nearly phoned the ward though, and know if it hadnt of calmed down a little (after a bowel movement) I would have phoned!

got midwife today, so am going to ask advice what to do, whether to just ignore, and at which point do you not ignore!

Its difficult isnt it! Wondering if you are being a pain, or something that needs checking out

Thats why I asked you yesterday what your prem labours felt like compared to full term labour, as I imagine they are not as painful? And taht you dont even need to be fully dilated?

I will know, when labour is real. Although there were times when I'd swear it was the real thing, in other pg's. My last one, I was walking around 4 cm dialated for something like 3 weeks before they decided to just break my water and get on with it lol. Here I always thought once you're 3cm, you're in labour and they keep you till you deliver.
I figure also, the more pg's you've had, the more BH and BS you will get too. This is kinda making me want to stop at 5 for sure.
Good news though, I drank just over a liter of water, and the BH calmed down! Only bad thing is my 2 yr old decided to wake me up for the day after I only had 3 1/2 hrs sleep. I think she's giving me some practice.

I have been getting them now for a few days. I called the midwife today and she said as long as I am not in pain then they are normal. I am not in pain at all. Just annoying at the moment they are. And I cannot go and lie down as I am at work
