We love Chester, woo hoo for shopping!!!!!!

Where abouts in the South of France are you going? We've been down there a few times

I'm really not sure what to do about my notes now - literally the hospital midwife was like everywhere you go, these need to go. I've taken them out of my big file and put them into a plastic pocket, so I can put them in my hand bag, but they are going to have to be folded and they'll get battered! Maybe thats normal though and I'm just been odd!!!!!

PhoxiestFox this has turned into a fab thread hasn't it

Well I have had a very relaxing day today, got up early so that hopefully I can sleep tonight since I'm up at five for work. I've done lots of housework, had my hair done, and finished lots of annoying little jobs, so I'm very pleased with myself! I'm not tired yet though - oh I really hope I can sleep tonight! Roll on maternity leave - only four weeks left after this one, yay!

xx
Ooh Chester shopping and spa treatment sounds great! Bet you cant wait!
OHs family have a villa in Theole, which is next to Cannes, so cant wait, although love it down there when its baking hot and ill be lucky if it reaches 20 but will be nice to get away from this rain and snow!! (CAnt believe its not spring yet...!) Although i think we have timed the babies well girls! Summer with our LOs in the sun and a glass of wine!!!

Hope you slept last night? I didnt...i woke up with fidgity legs which i hate, and couldnt sleep and OH was moaning at me for keeping him awake! No sympathy there!

I really need my hair doing...its getting depressing! Keep thnking ill hold off until after the baby, but think ill have to go in th next couple of weeks!

Ooh 4 weeks, lucky you! I dont finish till 23rd April, so ive still got 7 weeks or so yet! i have so much to do around the apartment, i really need to get sorted!

I booked a 4D scan today for March, mainly to be able to check everything is all ok etc, but you do get a cheeky glimpse at the baby which im looking forward to! Have you got anymore scans booked in? xx

Lucky you with your hol, do you fly down to Nice? It's so nice around there - the last time we went was just over a year ago in September and it was soooo warm - bliss! The beaches are gorgeous too, ahhhh!!! We drove down last time though (OH loves driving and wanted to drive his car around Monaco lol!!!) but it was a looooong way!!

Its not just me getting sick of Winter then!! I can't wait for Spring, it feels so 'right' too having a baby in the Spring, with all the lambs lol!!! Summer, sunshine, no work, wine . . . . perfect!! Add in the sleepless nights and it might not be quite as fun but I'm sure we'll all have an amazing time!! I think it'll spur me on to loose the baby weight too, I can't wait to get back in the gym and get my figure back!

I did actually sleep okay last night, think I got about 6 hours!! I'm tired out now though so off to bed in a mo, up at five again - urgh! The good thing about starting work so early though is that no one really notices if I'm late, bloomin good job really!!! Sorry to hear you didn't sleep well - my hubby works nights most of the time so I get the bed to myself - I never sleep as well when he's in bed too!

I feel sooo much better for having my hair done - I think I'll get it done just before baby is born too just so I don't look a mess on the photos!!!

We have quite a bit to do in the house too - just little jobs really but lots of them! We just need to get stuck in and get them done really, I think if they aren't done before the baby comes they won't get done lol!!

4d scan sounds so exciting!! We thought about it and decided not to - this probably sounds bonkers but we only decided on the day before our 20 week scan to find out the sex (which we haven't told anyone!!) so since I don't have that suprise, I don't want to see his little face until he's born. Pretty silly I know - and I'll probably change my mind on this too and end up booking a scan

Well I'd better be off to bed, can't believe its only 9.40 - it feels like about 11pm!!!

xx

I have two smallish holdalls (I used to use them for the gym) - I was thinking one for the labour / birth and one for after with the baby things, change of tshirt for hubby etc. I'm not sure I'll fit it all though to be honest!! I was going to pack another bag for in the car with extra stuff - ie more nappies, more nighties, more maternity pads etc, so hubby can run out and get them if needed. It would be easier to wack it all into a mid sized suitcase but I don't want to go OTT

What is everyone else doing for a coming home outfit for baby? I saw a set in M&S which was cute, but I'm not sure now!! I was just thinking a vest, babygrow, hat, booties, cardigan, maybe little gloves, and a blanket? But I can't decide if I should buy something special of just take what we have - which is loads lol!!!

I had a lovely few days away by the way, my treatment was bliss - OMG I was sooooo relaxed! It was just amazing! Hubby took me shopping and I hardly bought anything - just a cute little knitted baby toy in Chester, and we called in at the Trafford centre on our way home today and I just got some baby bits from John Lewis. I don't think hubby could believe his luck - he can't normally get me out of Selfridges! Saw some lush shoes and bags but they are not really baby friendly I've warned him that I'll make up for it when babys here and I've lost my baby weight though
