lol been looking through this thread and couldn't help but giggle at everyone who's worried their LO might have ginger hair! My OH is ginger with blue eyes and I'm blonde with blue eyes. Blonde and ginger i think is a winning combination to get a result that is a ginger haired baby!
Also all babies are born with blue eyes. FACT! Then they develop what their actual eye colour will be

Sorry, I havent read this whole thread so this might have already been said.

Hair and eye colour genes for your baby come from your parents (babys gradparents)

So in our case:
My dad - Brown eyes, brown hair
My mum - Green eyes, browny blondy hair
MIL - Green eyes, brown hair
FIL - Green eyes, brown hair

So theres a 1 in 4 chance our baby will have brown eyes, and a 3/4 chance our baby will have green eyes.

BUT brown eye genes are dominant, so that takes it up to about 50/50 chance of either in our case.

Does that make sense? lol

Hair works the same... brown hair again is dominant.

I sound like I know what Im talking about, I dont, my SIL's boyfriend is doing a masters in genetics and he told me this stuff.

Lazy eyes aren't genetic either if thats of any interest to anyone (another question I asked him because I had one when I was younger).
