Arrrghhh!!! Stupid Sickness Bug!! Might have to put of my C-section ***Update***

I've been ill the past week like feeling fluey etc got a cold and not being able to sleep. My cold is starting to get better but then i've had diarrhoea the past 3 weeks every time I go
Just spoke to the midwife's and they have told me to go to the doctors and get a stool sample sent off asap! and get in with my doctor first thing in the morning and get it sent off for a something or other to be tested for bugs.

Cus my hospital is not letting vistors in etc cus of the bugs that are going around I thought i'd be honest and tell them how i'd been feeling.

Soo now im going to have to run around tomorrow evening though i aint been feeling well anyways and sort this all out and if all is clear i'll have my pre op on tuesday instead on Monday
Just hope that I dont have anything. Oh and also my friend that decided to come and see me has told me she has the vomitting bug!! even though she said she just had hayfever and that her child was only being sick the other night cus she is teething!! just think it was a bit selfish of her to come see me if she wasnt well!!

Sorry long rant just that I was looking forward to seeing my Princess on Wednesday and I dont want to be feeling ill when recovering from a C-Section if they do go ahead with it

Arrghhh!!!!!!!!!! On a good note I havent been sick yet! lol just feeling sick!

**** UPDATE ******

Well I've sent the sample off and they said that they will call me in the morning to tell me the results of if I have a bug or not!
Bit annoying though cus if they dont come back in time they will have to put off my C-Section and I've already made everything sorted
getting so stressed out!!!
Just hope that the results are back in time tomorrow and i'll just go in for my pre op when they have a time.. I have to go in on my own though

Will keep you all updated

Awww, hannah Like you say, Musgrove has the Noro Virus atm, so best to be safe than sorry, especially as you've been in there in the last week or two. I hope you still get your section as arranged. Not pleasant having to hand a poo sample in, either. Hope it all goes ok. xxxx

Wretched bloody winter vomiting bug. How selfish of your friend to visit when she has it!

Why do people always put their kid's colds/vomiting down to teething? Good excuse for spreading it about the place I suppose - sorry, it really is my pet hate. Teething does not cause vomiting or coughs and sneezes - kids pick up everything at that age, it just happens to coincide with teething.

I doubt if "the runs" for 3wks is a virus - more to do with your pregnant state. Hope your section goes ahead love - and remember, if you do go into hospital, plenty of hand washing to avoid the dreaded sickness xxx

Same KK. I have my hospital tour on Wednesday; it's already been cancelled once cos of the Noro Virus! Not that it's really important... I'd rather not catch it really. Our friends' little boy caught the Noro Virus at nursery, and his mum is a nurse at MPH... bit of a link I think!
