My daughter stopped growing at about 34/35 weeks & I was induced at 37 weeks because the doctors thought she'd do better out of the womb. She was 5lb 1oz & was perfectly healthy. The doctors said my placenta had stopped working properly & she was termed an "IUGR baby".. that stands for Intrauterine Growth Restriction. She had no problems from it though, she was just small. good news about your sis i think it is fairly common my cousin and a girl i work with have both had the sme things happen. their babies were a little over 5 pounds and were born around the 36 week mark and they are al doing well now xx

I had to have a scan at 28 weeks as my bump was measuring 24 and my bump had appeared to have stopped growing. When I went for the scan everything was fine, it was just the way I was carrying her and I had her at 38 weeks weighing 5lb 11oz so small but fine.
