I never had ANY with my DD and i'm 33+weeks now n haven't had one so think its fine. x

None for me either! Glad to know I'm not the only one, some people have been telling me that means I'll be overdue.... grrrrrr, people and their opinions...

Oh thats exactly what i dont want (to be overdue) !!!
I hope that person is VERY wrong.

never got any with my dd in my first preg and i carried her to 42 weeks. it doesnt mean anything to not get them x

I didn't have any with my son and had him at 37+6. Think its just one of those things like why one person will get morning sickness and another wont, some get BH some dont!! xx

No BHs does not mean you'll go overdue at all. Some people get them, and some don't

I haven't felt any that I'm aware of, but was on the CTG monitor the other day and apparently I'm having them- they were registering at about 40 on the machine (whatever that means!)

Apparently everyone has them, it's simply the uterus contracting which (according to my antenatal class teacher) happens in everyone - even when not pregnant. Some ladies just don't notice or feel it at all, but that doesn't mean it's not happening! Your body is still preparing just fine, don't worry.

I didn't notice them at all until just after 37 weeks and have only had them hurt (or well, had back pain because of them) once. Even now the amount of times I've had braxton hicks and noticed them can be counted on one hand.
