I'm Currently Feeling:  | 40 wks appointment
Well... I'm not more dilated, still to a 2cm. She did another membrane sweep, and put me on the list for an induction. She said they will call me on the 23rd to schedule an appointment (WHAATTTT??) It may go in the next week after. WTF. 
I have to go to the hospital for a Non-stress test (she said it's done automatically when you are overdue) and she also mention that I have very high blood pressure everytime I go there, which she doesn't like. She said if I start feeling dizzy or have headaches, to go to the hospital and they might induce me earlier (I may fake it if I'm still pregnant on monday...)
The positive thing is : I gain half a pound in a week, woohoo.
Anyway, this baby better come out soon before I go nuts.  |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Was wondering where you were. Lets hope you don't need that induction! 2cm dilated is better than nada? Anyway, the membrane sweep might work now you're due! |

I wana no why ive never been offered to check if i am dilated/effaced etc
i dont even no what effaced means!
I have a midwife coming to the house tomorrow to give me a breathing technique session and bring a 'dolly' with her to explain more bout my babies position as shes ina weird place. I might just be brave and ask if she can give me an internal. altho it myt be weird letting a woman mooch in my mini whilst sitting on my sofa!! |

Your cervix is like a really thick donut when pregnant. When you go into labor your cervix has to dilate (open up) and efface (soften to get thin).  |
