I'm Currently Feeling: | I think you just have to think about it differently. Think about how exciting it is, how your labour is going to be different to everyone elses and how no one else is going to get to experience it quite like you do! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | The majority of women, once they have their baby in their arms forget about it. It's a few hours of pain -not long when you consider how long you'll have your baby for |

Theres no point lying to people and saying "ah, it will be fine.. pain free" etc.. because yes, it will hurt like hell - it's a different type of pain though.. there is a reward at the end. You're pushing a baby out, of course it's not going to be easy. I got very scared nearer the end of my pregnancy and thought me or Bethanie was going to die, you always expect the worst but it all turns out fine in the end, im sure you will cope very well.. try not to worry too much. |

| Yeah, I agree with Tilly. I remember watching Portland Babies every single day at the end of my pregnancy. I think it's good to know what's going to happen.. obviously all the programmes with nightmare birth stories aren't the best ones to watch, but the more normal ones I mean. I liked watching them if only to find out how everyone coped with their labour - different positions/methods/pain relief/etc. x |

I've found that too. I'm not scared of labour yet because I'm trying my best not to think about it just yet. I'm trying to get in the frame of mind that yes it hurts like nothing you can imagine but *fingers crossed* it'll only be for a few hours and then there'll be a gorgeous baby =] everyone I've asked never seems to properly remember how bad labour was because they said you just forget about it all once you hold your baby |
