Slight swelling of the hands and headache.

Woke up this morning with slight swelling of the hands and have a headache. This normal?

it can be completely normal. all part of the pregnancy package! have you seen midwife recently for blood pressure and urine check?
if not, i'd say to call midwife or the hospital just to be safe. I don't want to scare you unecessarily but I had severe swelling and a headache which turned out to be pre eclampsia and had to be delievered 4 weeks early. Then again, my swelling was quite noticeable in my feet, hands and face and you say yours is only slight. Midwife will probably put your mind at ease though.

I echo what laurajo24 says, ask to get your blood pressure and urine check to be on the safe side! Also make sure you are drinking plenty of water as dehydration can cause some of these symptoms.

Yes, slight swelling isn't a worry but when combined with a bad headache it's worth having your BP checked. Almost certainly just another perk of the third trimester though!

Def def get it checked out asap and get your bp checked as it could lead to pre-eclampsia. Always best to be safe than sorry

I agree with everyone else. I woke up with a headache and swollen fingers yesterday, my BP and urine were both fine at my appt a few hours later so mine seems to be normal pregnancy related I guess. I'd get it checked out just to be safe.
