Itchy feet?


Ok so for the past few days the soles of my feet have been itchy and when i itch them it doesnt help. I dont know if its because im thinking about it but my palms seem to havegone all itchy all of a sudden.

This it normal ?

I dont know for sure but i think its normal. I get itchy palms sometimes..

Isn't it a sign of obstetric cholestasis? I haven't had it though so don't know for sure.

Dry skin is common in pregnancy so it could be that.

It does say that some itching in pregnancy is normal. I only know about it as I came out in a really itchy rash all over my abdomen in second trimester and had blood tests to rule it out. It turns out my severe itching was caused my Palmers Cocoa Butter!!!!

It can be a sign of obsteric cholestasis, i was diagnosd at 30 weeks with my last baby and they were the only symptoms i had. i would call the midwife tomorrow and ask if she can fit you in for a blood test.

its not too series at this stage but you will need meds for it and baby will be monitored alot more closley due to the risks hope this helps
