I have just had one done this afternoon due to being 5 days overdue and TBH although I was dreading it and had thought about turning it down I didnt feel any pain and found out I am 1-2cm dilated. Dont think baby liked it too much as it started wriggling like crazy but hopefully it has kick started things off!

You do have to be careful with sweeps as they can accidently break your waters.
