i went 13 days with DS and im mentally preparing to get to that point again although i really hope not to with my spd causing so many problems im hoping my body just lets baby arrive naturally before then, although if the spd gets to the point where i cant care for ds at all then i might just have to bite the bullet and get induced, at my hospital its 10-14 days over they induce you depending on how busy it is at the time ( way to make a girl feel wanted lol )

Really? I notice you are in America.

Medical staff in this country would never induce a woman before 40 weeks unless there was a medical reason for doing so. You certainly would never be induced at 38 weeks because "you felt like it....".

Can I just say (through gritted teeth lol) that hospitals don't LET you go a certain amount of time over, they advise you to be induced but the decision is yours.

I'll only be induced if I go over 42 weeks or it's medically necessary but I'm really hoping he'll make his appearance before then! Will be trying sex and curry (separately), if nothing else it will be quite fun!
