Fundal Height??

Hi

I have been to the midwife today and measured low for 28 weeks at 26 cm....midwife isn't overly worried.

Should I be?

I've been joking about wanting him smaller, but now he is I'm very worried!!

Hiya, my fundal height has consistently been a couple of cms under at each visit but my midwife said its completely normal for a leeway of 2cms either side, so i dont think you need to panic! Also i have been measured a few days later by different people and it changes, so think all mw's measure slightly differently! xx

Its nothing to worry about, at my 29 week appointment I measured 27cm and the midwife said 2cm out is absolutely fine. She did say though that if I went any further out she would probably sent me for a growth scan. However when I went for my 34 week appointment I was only 30cm but the midwife still isn't worried, she has just said that my stomach muscles are very strong and I am not having a huge baby. Got another appointment at 36 weeks so will see what I get up to then. But put it this way, I am 4cms out and they aren't worried so 2cm is definately ok!!!!

Don't worry. I measure two weeks behind. It is a lot about their position.

I was measuring a few cm behind, so I had a growth scan on Monday and the baby is perfect, just likes to be as compact as possible.

I don't think fundal height is all that accurate. I've been measuring a cm behind at my appointments. My sister was measuring 5cm behind at 36 weeks but she had a scan and baby was measuring perfect for her dates xx
