The weather here has been really nice and me and my husband have been going on walks every now and then. Also, me and another pregnant girl from work will go and walk a mile every now and then on our lunch breaks. So yesterday, I decided that I wanted to walk faster (and alone) and try to get in 2 miles in about an hour (my lunch break). I did 4 or 5 laps (3 laps is a mile) yesterday. By the time I got home from work, my hip hurt really bad and my legs and feet were very tired so I skipped my walk that me and my husband planned on doing last night. Today I am so sore, my legs hurt really bad and they just feel like cramping all day.

I don't understand how walking can make me feel like this. I did speed walk (as fast as I can walk), but I didn't think I would be sore like this. I wonder if I am just out of shape or if the extra weight that I'm carrying around is affecting me.

What do you ladies think?
I had planned on walking today as well but my legs are too sore so I'll just go walking with my husband tonight (we don't walk that far). I'm just trying to incorportate walking into a routine until baby is born because I haven't worked out since I found out I was pregnant.
