you can get it from boots hun.

dont tell them its for you - I work there, they might deny selling you it as your preg but its fine to take - and its not a high dose anyway as its over the counter.

You cant take ibuprofen in pregnancy - unless this has been prescribed which isnt commonplace x

Aww hunni, try & rest between contractions but active during them (if that makes sense), theres nothing that helps better in labout to get you dialating than gravity of your LO on your cervix. If you're getting to Boots (or sending OH) get some Lucozade powders that you mix with water to make an orange drink (or bottles of the fizzy stuff) to try & keep your energy up. Or they also do the lucozade glucose sweets to suck on. I found it a godsend last time to pick me up during & after labour. If you cant walk around too much, do you have a ball to sit & bounce gently on??

Good Luck hun, you are getting closer each minute now to meeting your baby, am jealous x

i know how it feels. with my 1st i had been having painful contractions 4 abt 6hrs and i wasnt even dilated and that was the friday late at night and he wasnt born til early sunday morning. u can do it, u will find reserves where u thought there were none. once i reached 4cm then i dilated really quick but it took ages 2 reach that mark. hopefully things will speed up 4 u soon.

Everyones given you such good advice already hun so I wont repeat!

All I'll say is if the pain is that bad and even after a bath and paracetamol, regardless of what the hosp say, go back in!! You know your body and if you cant cope with the pain and need some pain relief then demand it.

Best of luck xxxx
