You poor thing

As the others say, it might be a good idea to get into the bath and then have something to eat afterwards. I would wake up your partner as well if you are in very bad pain.

Just think - every contraction is one closer to you meeting your beautiful baby. The pain will end and you will be left with something so precious.

Ah Katy,

I remember that so well with my first - it awful.

Have you got any co codamol you can take? It will at least relax you a bit to enable you to get a bit of sleep. I really feel for you, I know just how painful it is and you feel so helpless.

Really good thing that helped was having my back rubbed with a bit of oil, just gentle circles on my lower back and smoothing down my spine.

But hey - your having your baby!! Maybe not right this second but baby is on the way!!!! How teriffic is that hun!

Stay positive and the pain will go!! But honest, if you can get some co codamol it will take the edge off a bit hun.
Thinking about you xxx

Think you can get it from Boots from behind the counter, Ibuprofen is good too, because of the kind of pain it is it's actually more effective than paracetemol
