As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. | Hiccups I know that babies get hiccups, but mine seems to get them A LOT....and I googled it and did NOT like what I read....scarey!! He gets them 4-5 times/day and they last about 5 minutes usually...sometimes 10 min. Does anyone else's LO get them that often?? I don't know if I should call my OB...or just not worry about it. I worry about EVERYTHING though. UGH! I wish I could stop that.
thanks! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | STAY AWAY FROM GOOGLE!! LOL with that said my little guy gets them as often as your LO does. Sometimes it seems like they last forever... babies get hiccups from practice breathing so consider it a good sign. |

| Google says it could be a knot in the cord or the cord has a kink in it and the baby's not getting enough oxygen. It can lead to stillbirth??? It also says other things like "Practice breathing"...it's a good thing. I need to focus on that! I just need to hear that other babies have hiccups as much as mine does. My dd was born really sick, and so I worry about everything. I just need to know that this is something that I don't need to worry about. Thanks! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | When I was pregnant with my first, it seemed like he had them all the time... no joke!! He came out just fine... I actually read somewhere, and my doc confirmed that huccups actually help to mature the lungs, and can be a good thing |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Mine little one has them ALOT...it is scary...she even started as I read this post. It makes you think something is wrong...but she always ends up just fine. When I got my last 3D ultrasound I saw her opening her mouth and taking in fluid and sure enough she got the hiccups afterward...so that was reassuring. |
