So I had my 38 week appt today. I am 1.5cm dilated and 50% effaced... but even though his head is engaged his head is still high and my cervix isnt considered "favorable" yet, so its not quite soft enough she said

I was secretly hoping she would tell me I was at least 3cm and that she would want to strip my membranes... I want to have him!! Im such an impatient person.

But other than that everything was good, heartbeat was great and Im measuring right. I gained more darn weight, so Im at... I hate to say it... 50lbs over my pre pregnancy weight, killer!! Oh well, Im convincing myself its water weight lol.

Glad to hear everythings going well for you I can imagine how impatient you are now, I would be the same I think xXx

As my midwife said last week 'wanna get the baby out, walk and sex. Remember sex put that baby in there, and it will help to get it out.'

maybe we can have our babies on the same day..looks like mine isn't coming out any time soon.

Aw for your sake I hope you dont go all the way to my due date! Im due the 30th... I wouldnt wish that much overdue on anyone! Im sure you will have yours soon.

Samantha, I was already planning on the sex tonight and I am going to go for a walk in about 15 min... gotta get him out. I have been drinking raspberry leaf tea but it doesnt seem to be doing its job!

I know your anxious...I am too...I have to be the most impatient person! Anyways..maybe you should do some things to get your mind of it and it will seem to go by faster...scrapbooking, cleaning, shopping,...etc. Before you know it he will want to come out. I believe it! Good Luck! Do lots of walking too...maybe that will speed things up.

The last weeks of pregnancy are the most anxious time of all, apart from the first trimester and worrying about miscarriage.
