A question about birthing balls (maybe a silly question)

How durable are they? I just keep thinking that if i sit on it during labour and am in pain it may pop well i am not what you would call petite even pre pregnancy so i think i would just feel a bit uneasy. Has anyone ever heard of one breaking?

I don't have an "official" birthing ball but I have an exercise ball. Pre-pregnancy I'm about 240 at my heaviest and I've never popped my ball before. They're pretty durable

I haven't. I wasn't going to get one until now, because i was admitted to hospital with really bad contractions and it seemed that sitting on the floor, leaning on the ball REALLY helped me, it was a god send xxx

They'd have a lot of law suits on there hands if they popped under the strain!

They are very strong and durable
