I'm Currently Feeling: | My nose doesn't bleed, but there is blood when I blow. It is a combination of the softening that happens in the pregnant body and the massive increase in blood volume. Those vessels are kinda delicate as it is, so they bleed easier. My gums bleed now as well every time I floss. No matter how gentle I am, and I have always been a good flosser, so my gums are used to it, but some nights I spit out a whole mouth full of blood. Just one of the little joys! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Samantha, my gums were bleeding as well a while ago, but I bought a good mouth wash which someone suggested and since then they haven't bled at all.
Maybe speak to your dentist or someone and find out what they suggest. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ratty, I saw my dentist at the very beginning of my pregnancy, and he said to floss softer, use a good mouthwash, and do what I can. He did say that my mouth looked really good though. If the bleed just suddenly happened, I would really worry, but it started really early for me. I guess my gums are just sensitive. |
