I am going throught this at the moment too. I am 39 + 3 & up until last mw appointment last Fri bubs head was down. At mw appointment she couldnt feel the head where it was normally so sent me to hospital to check that he hadnt turned & was now breech. Luckily when they checked at hospital he isn't breech but head is now free. This is pretty normal appparently as babies head can stay free until labour starts - they just suggested staying active & sitting upright rather than laying down when resting to encourage him to go down, & just told me to mention that babys head was free if I did go into labour before being checked again just to ensure his head does come down first.
