baby lying back to back :/ (and MW rant) Long

So i went to see my MW again today and she was actually there. Yes still very late but she didnt send a random different one for once. (although towards to end i was hoping she had)
Incase you hadnt noticed, my MW irritates me alot. She is the type that talks at me and doest talk to me let alone listen to me. She isnt interested in doing a birth plan with me but would prefer for me to write it myself, on my own. Doesnt matter that this is my 1st pregnancy and i dont know how to write it etc, she doesnt care.

But anyways i went to see her today and after confusing me by telling me 3 different things about my EDD and how long they would let me go over due etc. She was feeling kent and said he is 4/5th engaged.
I know different MW's say different things like 4/5th or 1/5th and mean the same thing. But basically just the top of his head is engaged.
THEN she told me that my button on my jeans are getting hard to un do and i need some more materity jeans. Ok so i was petite and a size 6-8 before i was pregnant and only like a 10 now. So there is nothing wrong with my weight. Baby bump is a typical baby boy bump and is very big and low compared to my size. And she thinks its ok to comment on my weight?! She isnt even the 1st MW to do it?! and i know im not heavy or anything so it really upsets me that she does it coz i start to think im fat or something :/
She said that i can give birth with him being back to back but ideally we would like to move him etc.

She told me to lean forward with legs open when im having a BH even though i have told here 100000000 times i dont feel my BH any more and cant tell when im having them so dont know when to lean 4ward. But she didnt listen and carried on.

Has anyone's baby been back to back at 37/38 weeks? Any effective ways to get him to move? I know he could still move but would like to help him along. Anyone given birth to a baby back to back ?
Sorry this rant is so long. Congrats if you read it all haha.

They can be back to back when you go into labour and still turn around so it's definitely not a guarantee- don't worry too much, just try to spend some time leaning forward or bouncing on your ball or on your hands and knees, just google back-to-back and there are tons of 'positions' that help get baby to turn.

Sorry that you are so frusterated with you MW, my alternate MW is a bit like that!

Your midwife sounds horrible!
I've had the same argument time and time again with mine about the BH - I can't feel them, and she acts as if I'm making it up.

I thought 4/5 engaged was babys head right down? and 4/5 palpatable (sp?) is when only a small part of the head was down.

I don't have any experience with being back to back, but I'm sure some other ladies on here will be able to give you some advice xx

Thanks, i googled back to back and it came up with back to back pregnancys like one after another and stuff totally un related haha.
The way MW was suggesting it, it sounded alot like it was the worse thing ever etc. Then i read something that said they could turn so that relaxed me a little. Dont see why she has to worry me though

Yeah see thats what i thought, and it makes sence doesnt it. She even put 4/5th in my maternity notes. But she said it was just the top of his head etc. So i got really confused. Coz wouldnt 5/5th mean that he was fully engaged :/
I really hate how she doesnt explain things propery and just expect me to understand what she is tlaking about even though its our 1st pregnancy and i dont know what to expect. Yep she acted like i was lying about the BH too. She looked at me and was like 'Oh no you know, you have to feel your tummy'
And i was like I DO BUT I DONT FEEL THEM. DIDNT I JUST SAY THAT lol

hi hun, when i had my son i didnt find out until i was in labour that he was back to back and because of the position he got himself in he was stuck for me labour lasted quite a while and it was painfull(although it was my 1st baby so i dont know if it was more painfull than a normal birth) in the end they had to use forceps to help deliver my son(due to his heart beat droppping, not from being back to back) anyway, getting to the point, im a wimp and i managed with just pethadine and gas and air. hopefully bubs will turn for you before labour though x

hi it must be my shape as 4 of my 5 babies have been back to back, anyway to make them move if you can get onto a birthing ball and rock back and forth or on all fours and rock back and forth it opens up the pelvis and if they are going to turn it makes it possible for them, it worked with 3 of myn who turned from posterior to normal position, just my experience xx
