They gave me some antibiotics as thought may be a urine infection. I was monitored for half an hour, baby was active so happy with that, told them i could not easily get wedding ring off, they said that was common and they were more concerned about more sudden swelling of feet/ankles and hands etc. Blood pressure was a little high but came down and next day at gps was excellent.

I really hope I don't have it.. Its odd because I feel fine.. I don't have headaches, lights in front of my eyes, nothing.. I feel totally fine..

My hands and feet are a little swollen.. thats the only thing.. not massively though..

Isn't that normal in pregnancy? I'm sure a few of the other girls have mentioned it

Yeah, I mentioned it a few times at my ante-natal appointments and they said its very very common, no worries, they told me to take off my wedding rings and that was it.. they did say if it was coupled with protein in my urine they would be concerned.. But it never has been...

I even had my urine checked on Friday and it was clear, last night it wasn't.. So this is really recent..

My fingers are a bit swollen as well, I can't wear my wedding ring comfortably anymore, so I just don't bother.

Wow, that sounds scary Sorry you've had to go through that.

I really hope it's not pre eclampsia but it's good that they're monitoring you and if it is, then you're in the right hands
