numbness...

So i woke up from a nap and was on the phone with a friend of mine. I was NOT laying on my arm. But my right hand finger tips are number and tingly... Is this pregnancy related? Should i be worried???

My MW said its Carpal Tunnel (or at least that's what she thinks mine is.
Give your MW a call, as shecan book you in for Physio and/or get you dome splints. I only mentioned it to my MW yesterday, so I'll prob just have to suffer now, but you've got a couple more weeks, so I'd get it checked.

BTW, it's caused by fluid pressing on the nerves xxxx

do you have to have swelling with carpel tunnel? Because i dont have swelling....

Is it something i should worry about?

Give your MW a quick call, as mine is carpal tunnel, but can't guarantee that's what yours is IYKWIM??
I never noticed massive amounts of swelling, but it's gotten progressively worse - this morning my hands are so swollen my wedding ring got stuck!! Ouch!! xxxx

well it seems to have gone away.. im thinking mine might be a minor case of carpel tunnel as it was only in my right fingers and wrist...

Carpel tunnel I bet - but check with midwife first. I've had it since 34 weeks and often wake up with my arms stuck to the bed! lol

lol i have my doc appointment next week so i will mention it to her. It doesnt hurt its just annoying and uncomfortable

I've got this too. comes and goes - most annoying when trying to sleep as it wakes me. Off the physio tomorrow despite being due this weekend, a couple of nights without it would be bliss before our lil one arrives!
