pain worry

Hi there, i am new here and i wondered if anyone could help with a query of mine.
today i managed to get a little bit of my nesting instinct back and got the house looking good with the help of my partner. then we decided we would go out to woolies and get a few things we needed.

while walking round the shops my bump kept going hard but this is not unusual. on the way back, i got strong pains in my bump but only on the right hand side. i tried to walk it off but it got more and more painful and began to move further down to the ovary area and radiate to my back and down my leg. but it was all still only on the right side. i was 2 mins away from the house but by the time i got there i was struggling to stand. it frightened me as i felt it went on far too long to be a contraction and i couldnt figure out why it was only on one side. i ran a bath and lay in it for a while but the pain was still there when i got out. so i lay on the couch and 4 hours later, the pain has largely subsided. i am now left with a dull ache like period pains and the occassional twinge in my back.

my friend told me it was contractions but i am not convinced as it has largely gone away and i think the pain lasted way too long to be contractions.

anyone got any ideas what this could have been?

Maybe you did too much and your LO was more on the right side? But could be the beginning of contractions- not long now...Take it easy!

Could also be what they call round ligament syndrome, although strange that it went down your leg as well.

I over did it the other day, went for a walk in thick sand with a few hills and by the time I got home I could barely stand and was in agony for a while. Its apparently worse on the right than the left. Mine went away slowly over the next 2 days. Then on Friday I did a lot of walking around a shopping centre and once again it got a bit sore on the right hand side. Just gotta be careful not to over do it. I tend to try and walk too fast!
