I feel like this too sometimes. We are so skint this month. Just hoping bubs waits til after payday to make his appearance lol But then I remember that we will get child benefit and all that to cope with the added financial responsibility. Plus in my case we have been doing it for 4 years on 1 wage, we can keep doing it

I hope!!

Totally hun. Some days i just think we'll manage and it doesn't bother me, other days i worry we'll just never manage. Worried about nursery fees too when the time comes for me to go back to work.

We just seem to be paying out soo much at the mo, doing the house up and we both totally forgot to budget for a light for the living room and a rug for the hall so worrying where the money will come for to get them, then came out this morning and one of our cars had a flat tyre! Grr we could have done without that.

Everyone tells me things work themselves out and i'm sure they will. We'll get £20 a week child benefit too but know how you feel hun it's hard not to worry isn't it xXx

All the time babes..we always seem to be skint, and it doesn't matter so much only having like £2 til the end of the week when it's just us, but it does frighten me that it'll be like that with baby..at the moment it's like , if we need something it has to wait til next payday but you can't be like that with a baby...and I know there's people with less than us who manage but it's just not what you want is it? xxx

We have some debt that I want to pay off by the end of the year so I am never that far away from thinking about money & how to get rid of the debt. As soon as I get rid of that though I am going to start overpaying on my mortgage as I want my baby to have as comfortable a life as possible.

To get rid of the debt I joined moneysavingexpert and got loads of tips on how to save and even make money.I find it invaluable

I'll give you a piece of advise that some one gave me... "Don't stress yourself about money when your pregnant, It always works out. Some times you don't know how but you will always have what you need for baby."

Tbh I was so stressed during the middle of my pregnancy about money I was in tears all the time and I could never see how we were going to make ends meet when I gave up work... You know something? I have given up work and I'm on SMP atm and some how me and my OH have more money spare each month??
And we have worked it out on the smallest amount of money I will be taking home whilst on SMP.

I know it is easier said than done when people say not to worry... But I promise you it will all come right in the end... as I was told you don't know how but it does!!

To you xxx

People always seem to cope, hun. No matter how little people have, they always manage. I know people on half the household income we are on that always seem to have more spare cash. I guess the less you have, the better you budget.

I was off sick during the qualifying period for my SMP so I'm only going to be getting 100 a week plus 21 tax credits and 20 child benefit. We are pooping it about money, but we know, at the end of the day, we have got through harder time.

Please try to stay positive and enjoy the time with your baby while he/she is tiny.
