| Diabetes test tomorrow...... Hi girls, tomorrow morning, very early, ive got to go for my diabetes/glucose test at the hospital. Does anyone know what i am in for and what happens with the different results?Im getting quite nervous!xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hiya hun dont worry i went for mine last week, i just had to be there for 8.30 they took my blood gave me a lucozade drink to drink in 5 mins then i had to sit there and wait about another 2 hours and they took my blood again and sent me home, the next day i rang up for my results and everything was fine. good luck with yours xxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It's nothing really. I went for one at 16 weeks and one at 27 weeks. I'm overweight so they wanted to do an early one, just in case. You go in, drink your drink...mine were orange and actually not bad. If they have straws, I found it MUCH easier to drink my second one in the 5 mins with a straw. Wait around an hour, get your blood drawn and go on your merry way. Good Luck! Bring a book or something though! |

| i had my glucose/diabetes test on monday and just ten minutes before the end of the 2 hours i was sick everywhere!!!SOOOO embarrasing......all down myself.I tried to make the toilets but someone was in them.To make it worse it was in the pathology department with about 40 people all staring at me!Then the lady said i might have to re do test if they cant get an accurate rresult cos i was sick!argghhhh............xxx |
