Booked in for c-section now due to breech and terrified! Anyone else? - Page 2

I had a section in Jan 09 with DD2 i would say that the spinal is uncomfy more than painful the way i keep describing it is squeaky...i know this sounds so weird but i hope that people who have had a section know what i mean...or maybe i am just weird lol.

I know what you mean! Its a strange sensation and hard to explain the feeling. But squeaky makes sense lol

I'm due to have a c-section at 36 weeks which is exactly 2 weeks today and I am officially nervous but not about the surgery but about the size of little one, care etc!

Also worried I won't get everything done in time!! Thought I would be so much better with a definate date but I'm not!! Feels like I'm on a countdown now, getting a date etc makes it all seem so real.

Aww hope he moves for you hun before then.My baby is breech atm too.I have to go on thrus for another scan to see if hes turned and if not they are going to try and turn him and if the wont work then I will have to get a c-section too.Good luck with what ever happens hun

Im gonna be booked in for mine if she is still breach next week. I have been advised that she probably wont as she is big and wont have much room and she is streached out. I was told i wouldnt get one till 39 weeks though. Good luck hun xx

You girls are so amazing I feel heaps better about it now. OH wasn't helping-- the mother of his first son had a c-section (elective) and he said how she flipped out when they put the spinal in, and that she said it was soooo painful, and it took her ages to recover

It was 7 years ago so I don't know if they did them differently then or something, but if you listen to his account of her c-section it's the worst thing you'll ever do... and he's not about to stop reminding me either lol.

Hi Britney, my sched is just one day ahead of yours but I'm really hoping I can reach that date, so what I'm doing now is bed rest. I wonder Sarahhoney , your sched is 36 weeks?
