I just awoke from a nap and used the washroom to notice that some of my discharge had a pink hue to it. First I was unsure, but once I wiped again the same thing occurred. Is spotting or pink vaginal bleeding common in late pregnancy? Is it something I should be concerned about?

I think it can be a sign of labour to come.

Onset of labour:

The vaginal discharge may become pink-tinged. This bleeding is from small blood vessels in the cervix which break as it opens.

It's maybe your show. Things might be starting for you. Hope so. xx

I tried to look this up in my pregnancy books and all I could find was what Aqua said. This is usually a sign that labor may begin soon or a sign that your mucous plug is getting ready to come out. Have you lost yours yet? Have you overdone it at all today? Honestly, I don't think it's anything that will harm you or LO, I think it's just your body getting ready for the big day.
