I feel a bit down today...

I seem to be missing my family in Spain today for some reason and won't see them until we go back over at the end of August (elderly aunts and uncles who can't travel well). My parents are over there as well. I just can't stop today. I think it's because this is our first child born out of Spain, so there's no real family support nearby.

And to make matters worse, my husband has just phoned to say he won't be back from work until late tonight!. It looks as if I'll have to put the kids to bed all by myself I may ask our neighbours to help out though....

Ok -Ignore the above post, as I feel a bit better now.

My husband has just phoned to say he will be back earlier. I think he felt a little bit guilty as this will be the first time I would have put the kids to bed by myself, since Christy was born.

I may even give him what he's been waiting for so patiently, for the past 2 days... but I'll see how I feel - I can't wait for 5 weeks!!!!

I think having your support system around you can make a huge difference in your emotions after baby. Glad to hear your DH is back early!!

He came back early (with the biggest boquet of flowers ever!) and told me to go and have a bath and relax, while he got tea on etc (even though he had been around food all day in the restaurant - that's love for you!). I had a bath and then went into the bedroom to get something, sat down on the bed and fell asleep for an hour and a half!!!!!

When I woke up, my DH (or SH - sexy husband!) had fed, bathed and put Christy to bed and the other kids were watching a DVD before they went to bed.

As for waiting six weeks for "bed action", I was told by my doctor, that if I feel OK then it shouldn't be a problem, but to take it easy the first time round. Never had a problem before after my others were born.

So I might have a go at tonight!! Just hope it is as good (or even better!) than I imagined!!! (if you saw how sexy and gorge my hubby was, you'd be the same!!!! LOL)

xx Steff xx

i thought you only had one kid in this country??? You said you had left the others behind in spain??
Do you have any other photos of your husband, the only one i have seen seems to be a black and white modelling photo. You should take another one with the camera you use to take photos of your friends bump.
