I just don't have any time! We still have some serious negotiating of our apartment space to do, i.e., my husband's home studio will be the baby's room...but it's still his studio. We bought a crib last weekend, and I've gotten some good things from baby showers, but I just feel so unprepared. Because we're doing a homebirth I also need to think about all of that stuff--in addition to a hospital bag in case we have to transfer.
Does anyone else feel entirely overwhelmed?

totally overwhelmed by it all sometimes. There is so much out there which is probably a waste of money and useless and its knowing how much of each thing you need to keep you going for a little while initially.
My mum is finally coming for a visit to the stupid island i live on on monday so going to throw her into all my boxes and bags of baby things and get her opinion on what else is really essential and anything i havn't thought of.
