I'm Currently Feeling: | Your labor fears I was talking to a friend of mine today about labor, and she talked about the birth of her daughter.. She did a nice #2 while pushing. I just can't help to think about it now, I know they probably don't even care, but how embarrassing!!
Oh god... I think that's one of my fears now!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My MW's assistant spoke about this in class. She assured us all it is NO big deal. It is quickly taken care of, and they do not care. They have seen it all. I figure if I do poo, oh well, I won't be the first, nor will I be the last.
I am not to afraid of labor. I worry that I will become overwhelmed by the pain, that it will drag on and on, but no major fears. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My biggest fear with this one is too short of a labor. The hospital is about an hour away and 2nd labors are supposed to be shorter. I'd really hate to have her on the side of the Interstate
As for the poo thing, I plan to do what I did with my first- an enema in early labor. I know they've seen it all but my OH hasn't see me poo all over and I'd rather him not |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hmm...doing a #2 while pushing...I had heard this and just hope that does not happen to me. Even though, I probably will not even know if it happens. At our classes they did tell us (like yours did Sam) that they clean it up before you even know and it's not like they haven't seen it before. But, just the thought of it and the thought of people being in the room watching, makes me a little embarrassed. |

Why did he have to clean it up?!?!? I don't think I'd ever really get over that embarrassment- I'd laugh it off on the outside and be silently mortified! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm scared that I will get so exhausted that I will just stop pushing and have to have some sort of intervention. I know we will get pushing urges that are impossible to fight but I'm still afraid I'll need a c-section or something else I don't want and it'll be my fault for not being strong enough |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm trying not to think too much about the labour. Although I can't remember the exact pain I had I remember it hurt that much I hauled myself off the bed and onto the floor, drip stand in tow. Didn't do a no. 2 but a no. 1 on the floor then proceeded to shout that I was gonna f****n shit myself, it was actually baby's head. I'm not very good with pain.
I think it was cause I was induced and the drip brought it all on so quick. Can't believe that was 8 years ago, seems like yesterday. x |
