Change in movement around 31 weeks anyone??

Hi girls,

Just wondered if anyone else was finding/found that their baby's movement was slightly different around this time - instead of actual kicks/punches etc, I more just get a general rippling feeling across part of my bump? I am guessing this is because my baby is running out of room, although I didn't think this would happen quite so soon??

Yep ive been having less kicks for the past week or so. I might only get about 10 strong ones a day but feel her moving around when i put my hand on my tummy and see it all moving lots. Its getting more strange! I really would love to be able to see inside for a bit and see what is causing my bump to move from one side to the other! I get email updates each week and todays said we now have a lot less fluid as baby is running out of space.

We have same due date!

yep im the same hun, since around 30 weeks iv had hardly any kicks and its more just movements now. xxx

I'm starting the week after next as I'm off for a week. So so excited, just cannot wait! When do you finish work?x

i get more squirms and moving slowly... less kicks now.. think they have less space to move

Yep i remember at about this time her movements changed completely. Instead of kicks, it was more squirms & the movements were deffinately slower. I'm now over due & all i feel is her stretching & poking. Baby is just running out of space!

my movements have definitly gotten more infrequent

I'm glad to hear this as I was starting to freak out. Babba is still getting days where she is kicking madly (like yesterday) but mostly it's just quite slow and rhythmic and I feel like she is crushing all of me inside now!!!
