Its terrible isnt it! I've only eaten 2 pieces of toast today and had a glass of milk in the hope I wont have much in my tummy to cause acid build up. will have some more toast in a bit for my tea but im not eating anything else.

Think those donuts yesterday did me some serious damage

Getting OH to grab me some rennie on the way home - these used to work well so here's hoping!

Oh, I know what you feel. I had a little break for a few days, but then it's back again gaviscon seems not helping more. I still drink at least cup of hot milk before go to sleep, but still waking up, going to the fridge, trying again milk, gaviscon... so annoying

I feel your pain. I've been swigging Gaviscon from the bottle for weeks now! It's got so bad that it wakes me in the night.

my night time ritual now is a glass of milk about 15 minutes before bed, then a Rennie, then a big gulp of Gaviscon, Peppermint i find is best. I also sleep with loads of pillows elevating me. Seems to be working so far.

oooo ice cream i also find works. Good luck

I've been having warm milk with a bit of honey. Read it somewhere and it works for me. Raw carrots are also supposed to be good, but not tried that!

God i know just how you all feel!
I was getting through two of the largest bottle of gaviscon a week on repeat prescription from the doc's, i had two bottle in each vehicle incase i ran out, two at my parents place for when i went there, and always a spare in my handbag! i'm dreading it coming back with this bump!
Rennies or gaviscon just weren't cutting the mustard in the end but the minute joey was born i never needed to touch another drop, and he has got brilliant hair!!
