Hello again all, I posted just now about my 31 week appointment with my midwife but thought i would do this on a separate thread.
Anyway we have custody of my 2 step sons so have been secretly hoping for a girl to balance things out (i want to play barbie not power rangers!!
) and we have it in our head its going to be a girl (which i know we shouldnt!) but when we went for our scans we didnt want to find out but on our 20 week scan i did see three bright white parallell lines around bubs bits when they were measuring bubs.
A boy wouldnt be a bad thing dont get me wrong and we would be made up and happy with whatever nature brings us but now i have it in my head its a girl and its driving me nuts!!
Anyway yesterday i had my appointment and the midwife was listening to the heart beat and she said last time that if it sounds like a gallopping horse its probably a girl and if it sounds like a train then its probably a boy.
Last time she said it sounded like a gallopping horse and said she could see me with a girl but yesterday she said it sounds like a train so she thinks its a boy! she has been a midwife for 31 years so now i dont know what to think after all my expectations of stupidly thinking its probably a girl!!!
This really is doing my head in now.
So im asking everyone who knows about the sex of their baby already or who already have kids to describe these things.....
Boy or Girl?
Carrying high or low?
Heartburn really bad? or not?
Bad morning sickness? or not?
Linea nigre (cant spell it) above belly button/below/all over or none?
Sugar cravings or savoury?
and basically any other old wives methods you can think of
