I really really really like the smell of petrol and tippex and that sort of thing at the moment. It used to make me gag. Never had the compulsion to drink it though thankfully.

Dont believe the old wives tales!!

Absolutely everyone - and i mean everyone with not one exception - thought i was having a boy because of the symptoms ive had and im carrying low and all out front. Also the heartbeat was very slow and like you said, sounded like a train. But im having a girl!!

Girl or boy: Girl!

High or low: Very low

Heartburn: No

Morning sickness: A bit in the first tri and feeling sick again now

Linea Nigra: No

Sugar or savoury: Both, anything except fried food!

Ok well i think you girls have really put it home to me now that you cant go by all these things which does make me feel a little better.

Im carrying quite high and all out front,but then how high is high!

Morning sickness was like clockwork until it tapered off at around 14-15 weeks.

Craving sweet things but nothing in particular.

Linea is from top of bump to belly button but im very fair so only just shows up.

Had heart burn really bad in weeks 26-28 but had now totally stopped unless i have gravy.
So we cant really make head nor tail of all of this.

It came out that our baby will have brown eyes and brown hair......we both have very blonde hair and bright blue eyes........is this biologically possible??!! im hoping not or BF might get paranoid!!

First of all, with regards to the heartbeat. My first was a girl and her heartbeat went from 150 down to 135. Hmm, that wives tale was wrong.

Also, with my girl, I carried low. Obviously I went against the rule of that wives tale too.

Never had any cravings or morning sickness through any pregnancies so can't say about the wives tale about cravings, morning sickness and gender.

Wives tales are fun though.

Bad morning sickness? or not? AWFUL...I had HG until about 17 weeks..and it's coming back now.

Sugar cravings or savoury? FRUIT FRUIT FRUIT...and juice!

Oh, and the heartbeat thing...hers is in the high 140's to low 150's, sometimes it sounds like a train, other times horses..sometimes we can pick both up at once. My doc said one is the placenta and the other is the baby.

Oooooh the placenta has a heartbeat? wow you learn something new everyday even if it is kinda freaky!
I think if i had a doppler thingy like you have i would link it up 24/7 must be such fun
