Fundal height is a non invasive 'guesstimate' of bubys size..and should in no way be used as a sole factor of measuring fetal growth. Its something that is done at your antenatal visits to detect 'possible' fetal growth compromise. Scans are a better indication of fetal size.

I was measuring 31weeks at my 28week apt and my friend is measuring 33weeks at her 31week apt so i wouldnt worry too much. Seems alot of people are measuring 'big' or 'small' and having perfect lil bubas x

I have been measuring 2 cm ahead during one of the appointments, then spot on for the next two, then again 1.5 cm ahead... it seems there is an individual variation in how the measurements are being taken and the way the baby is positioned. 2 cm is really nothing to worry about.
